Magnojez spoke about problems at the LAN tournament in India
Player Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov showcased the conditions under which BetBoom Team is practising at the Skyesports Championship 2024 for CS2. According to the esports athlete, the organisers provided the team with poor-quality computers and desks.
"Here’s a brief look at our practice setup. Honestly, BetBoom Team isn’t very happy with it, but we’re not fussy. Our desk looks like this – a bit uneven, as you can see, making it uncomfortable to play. We’re using these setups for the group stage at the LAN tournament – which is not ideal. Also, Pasha 's1ren' doesn’t have Windows activated. Plus, he’s got Fall Guys, Akros Anti-cheat, and a bunch of other stuff installed. Vlad 'nafany’s' desk looks like this – bamboo, top-notch. The chairs are all different. Sanya 'KaiR0N-' has a computer that's acting up. In short, we’re playing LAN."
Rodnov also mentioned that the participants at Skyesports Championship 2024 were given computers with varying specifications.
"It turned out that Vlad 'nafany' discovered, after gathering information, that our opponents had much better computers than we did. Also, I had a dead pixel on my monitor and my FPS was about 150 on bots. The computers are just terrible, and thanks to the efforts of our manager and captain, the team agreed to use 'lineups' again. The manager did a tremendous job. Now everyone will be practising under equal conditions. Everyone is happy. Victory!"
"Perhaps it was a coincidence and we just got 5 bad computers... but now everything is equal, and that’s wonderful. We’ll be carrying the games, I think."
