Magnojez about the latest patch

BetBoom Team CS2 player Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov commented that he doesn’t see an issue with the ban on certain scripts following the update. He shared his thoughts on Telegram.

"For me, nothing has changed... I wasn’t using Snap Tap and didn’t plan to. I’m still hitting grenades just fine, so it seems I have a certain level of skill. The game has become more professional, and everything’s clear. Casual players, keep practising.

But removing Jumpthrow wasn’t necessary..."

The patch blocking the use of Jumpthrow was released on the night of 20 August. In addition, Valve banned other movement binds, and keyboards with Snap Tap, and updated the anti-cheat system. Following this, some esports players complained that the changes negatively impacted certain aspects. For example, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets mentioned that he’s struggling to hit some grenades consistently and expressed hope that Valve might reconsider.
