Maden commented on s1mple's move to Falcons: "It just wasn't meant to happen."

Team Falcons member Pavle "maden" Bošković commented on the failed transfer of esports athlete Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev to his team. In an interview with Esports.gg, the Montenegrin professional player shared his thoughts.

"S1mple usually excels in the role of a sniper and positions himself in the best spots, but in Falcons, he couldn't do that because we already have SunPayus as our sniper. It was very challenging because they had the same roles. If everything had gone well and we had suddenly won at BLAST, perhaps we would have continued to play with s1mple. You never know what will happen, but it just wasn't meant to be."

Previously, s1mple competed for Falcons at the BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024. The team lost to Metizport with a score of 1:2 and was eliminated from the championship. After this, Kostylev did not represent the organization.

The next tournament for Falcons will be ESL Pro League Season 19, which will take place from April 23 to May 12 in Malta. 32 teams will compete for a prize pool of $750,000. In the opening match, Bošković's roster will face The Mongolz.Player Virtus.pro Denis "electroNic" Sharipov commented on the departure of Abay "HObbit" Khasenov and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy from Cloud9's CS2 main roster. Sharing his thoughts on the decision of his former teammates, the esports athlete spoke during a media day at ESL Pro League Season 19.

"Yeah, [the rumors about HObbit and Perfecto leaving Cloud9] surprised me. I didn't know they wanted to leave the team. So yeah, I was slightly shocked. But I can only wish them and Boombl4, who has to assemble a new roster, good luck."

Cloud9 officially announced the departure of Perfecto and HObbit from the roster on April 22 - rumors about this surfaced online a day earlier. The club also parted ways with analyst Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov. Most likely Konstantin "Groove" Pikiner will also leave the team and Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov will take his place. Club head Jack Etienne stated that the new roster will be built around Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov and Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov.
