Liquid became the last participant in IEM Rio 2024

Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken's team has emerged victorious in the closed North American qualifier for the IEM Rio 2024 Counter-Strike 2 autumn championship.

In the final qualifiers, Liquid defeated Legacy with a score of 2-0. The competition also featured FLUFFY AIMERS and LAG, who secured third and fourth places respectively.

IEM Rio 2024 will take place from 7th to 13th October 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with 16 teams participating. The total prize pool amounts to a quarter of a million dollars. The winner will earn a spot at IEM Katowice 2025. The complete list of participants is as follows:
