In an interview with Players.ua, Aydin "KrizzeN" Turlibekov, the analyst and manager of Monte, shared some details about his work with the team and his daily schedule. Turlibekov emphasized that one of the most crucial qualities for someone in his profession is perseverance.
"Initially, the new role was a bit challenging for me because you learn something new, and experience only comes with time. <...>
My standard workday starts at 9-10 AM, depending on when our match begins. I grab a coffee and sit down to watch replays. Sometimes, I simultaneously handle some managerial tasks, but on match days, the main focus is on analysis.
On game days, I spend 6-7 hours watching demos of one team, but recently, we’ve been watching them together with AiyvaN [the coach of Monte's academy team], so it’s a bit less, around 4 hours. Perseverance is one of the most important skills in this job."
KrizzeN also assessed the current performance of the team and shared the goals Monte has set for the upcoming season. According to Aydin, the team still has a lot of work to do.
"Right now, we need to regroup; this season was very poor, and we’ll see what happens in the next season.
We are currently on a break, and we really need to catch our breath and come back stronger next season. Everyone in the team is very eager to get back to the 2023 level, so there’s a lot of work ahead.
Of course, I plan to get back to at least the top 20 of HLTV, but as I said, it requires a lot of work. Most likely, we will have a bootcamp abroad."
Monte failed to qualify for the major in Copenhagen and finished 13-16th at ESL Pro League Season 19. The team also finished last at IEM Dallas 2024 and placed 12-16th at IEM Katowice 2024. Currently, the roster is ranked in the top 31 of the HLTV rankings.
