Fnatic player Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson reflected on his team’s current results, form, and future prospects, admitting that he and his teammates are unlikely to secure a major title this year or even the next. KRIMZ shared his thoughts in an interview with HLTV.
"I believe we have all the tools needed to rise in the rankings and achieve better results. We haven't shown it yet, but in my view, this isn't due to the lineup but rather a lack of confidence.
I think it's simply the result of a series of tough matches and players not being on the same wavelength, rather than a need to replace one or two members. We’ve had some really productive discussions and added structure to everything, so we have a lot to work on now.
I'm realistic. I’d say winning a major is unlikely, but I still have a fighting spirit. We won’t win it this year, maybe not even next year, but I believe."
Johansson recently set a record in professional Counter-Strike, having played exactly 2,000 matches for a single organisation. The 30-year-old Swedish player marked his milestone game for fnatic on 22 October in a match against The MongolZ at the Thunderpick World Championship 2024.
