The esports organisation JiJieHao has moved Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjaerbye to the bench, just three weeks after he joined the team. This was reported by HLTV.org, citing representatives from the organisation.
JiJieHao has not officially announced a new player for the CS2 roster, but the team has registered for the open qualifiers for the RMR for Asia and Oceania with Viktor "Duplicate" Mitev. It is not yet clear whether Duplicate will remain with the team after the qualifiers.
Kjaerbye joined JiJieHao at the end of July 2024. During his time with the team, they competed in the Esports World Cup 2024, where they were eliminated by Sashi Esport in their first match. Kjaerbye has not commented on his removal from the starting roster.
