The coach of UNPAID (formerly BLEED), Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović, shared how he and his teammates distributed the prize money they earned for their participation in the RES Regional Champions 2024 tournament in Belgrade. The team won $50,000 in total, and, according to the Serbian coach, the organisers paid out the prize money within an hour after the event's conclusion.
For transparency, kassad explained the distribution of the prize pool among eight individuals:
- Players: $7,000 each
- Coach: $7,000
- Analyst: $5,000
- Manager: $3,000
He added that both he and CYPHER contributed an extra $1,000 each from their shares to reward the analyst and manager for their hard work, so the analyst received $6,000, and the manager received $4,000. He stated that everyone agreed on this distribution.
It was also mentioned that David "h4rn" Benchev left the UNPAID Counter-Strike 2 roster immediately after the conclusion of the RES Regional Champions 2024. The 24-year-old Bulgarian player finished the tournament with an average rating of 0.99, and his replacement in the roster has yet to be announced.
In the final of the RES Regional Champions 2024, Nemiga defeated UNPAID with a score of 2:1, earning $150,000 for their victory.
