FaZe captain Finn "karrigan" Andersen shared his thoughts on his team's victory over Falcons in the group stage of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, securing their spot in the playoffs. Andersen spoke to HLTV.org in an interview.
"Yesterday, we had bad rounds on defence and good ones on the attack; today it was the opposite – weak sides on attack and strong ones on defence. The game on Ancient was tough in terms of finding solutions, but I think, in the end, they adapted quite well."
The Danish esports player also reflected on reaching the playoffs and performing in front of his home crowd in Copenhagen.
"It's nice to play here in Copenhagen again. Obviously, over the last few years, we've played in Royal Arena and never won, so maybe Forum will be our chance. The teams playing against us are showing really good performances, and we're not in the best shape, so let's just try to enjoy ourselves.
It feels like we haven't had many stage matches since Cologne over the last four or five months, so now we're in a position where we can play, and maybe something will come of it. We're not the best at the moment, we know that, but it's something we can try to leverage in the game."
As a reminder, the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 takes place from 25 to 29 September in Copenhagen, Denmark. The total prize pool of $425,000 will be distributed among the eight teams, with the winner also earning a spot at the BLAST Premier World Final 2024.
