JW trolls the new Astralis captain

Swedish Counter-Strike veteran Jesper "JW" Wecksell has made a playful jab at Astralis' recent roster changes, referencing his own experience with the 2016 reshuffle at GODSENT. On Twitter, JW posted: "Did you guys learn nothing from the godsent shuffle?", sparking a lively discussion in the esports community.

In 2016, fnatic and GODSENT executed a player exchange: JW, flusha, and KRIMZ joined GODSENT, while twist, wenton, and Lekr0 moved to fnatic. The trade led to internal strife within fnatic and generated significant controversy. GODSENT, with pronax and znajder also on board, had high ambitions but fell short of expectations. Two months later, KRIMZ returned to fnatic, and Lekr0 rejoined GODSENT. The new GODSENT roster struggled, failing to advance past the group stage at ELEAGUE Major 2017, while fnatic, with KRIMZ, reached the semifinals.

JW's tweet has led to a flurry of jokes and commentary. The official GODSENT account quipped: "We didn't learn anything either." Fans reminisced about the 2016 roster changes and the subsequent poor performances. One fan noted: "You know 80% of the fans are too young now to remember these changes." The trolling from JW serves as a reminder of past controversies and the unpredictable nature of roster changes in the esports scene.
