The Swedish team Johnny Speeds has found a replacement for Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson, who has moved to Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovacs' new team today. The announcement was made on the social media platform X.
The vacant spot on the roster has been filled by former GODSENT player Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson. The captaincy of the revamped team will be taken over by William "draken" Sundin, who previously held the role of Lekr0.
In recent months, bobeksde has frequently played for Johnny Speeds as a stand-in. Notably, he helped the team win the small online tournament Dust2 Sweden POWER Masters 1, which took place on June 30th. In April, he also secured first place at United21 Season 14 with Johnny Speeds.
Last month, Johnny Speeds won two local LAN tournaments in Sweden – Svenska Elitserien Spring 2024 in Jönköping and SubZero E-Games 2024 in Östersund. Altogether, the team won just over $18,000 in prize money from these two championships.
