Jimphat: "There is almost no talent in Finland now"
MOUZ player Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo has commented on the current state of the professional Counter-Strike scene in Finland. Salo highlighted a significant lack of young talent in the country and specifically mentioned Paavo "podi" Heiskanen from ENCE.
"Right now, there are almost no talents in Finland. It’s disappointing because things used to be better. I can point out podi from ENCE. He plays well and could become a top player.
When I first started on the pro scene, there were many strong Finnish teams and players, but now there’s hardly anything. It’s just me and Aleksib. There are no good players right now; things were better before."
Jimpphat also compared teams such as Vitality and Team Spirit. According to the Finnish esports player, Vitality currently outshines the "Dragons."
"Vitality and Team Spirit have some of the best players in the world and great team chemistry. But at the moment, Vitality is significantly better than Team Spirit."
Yesterday, MOUZ became one of the semi-finalists at the Esports World Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia – in the first round of the playoff bracket, the team defeated FURIA.
