Jabbi: "The goal is not to win, but simply to show good CS"

Astralis member Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard commented on his team's victory over SAW in the group stage of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 in a brief post-match interview. The Danish player compared Astralis' performance against NAVI yesterday to today's match against the Portuguese team.

"We corrected the mistakes we made yesterday. The match against NAVI didn't go very well; we made a lot of errors, and the game was chaotic, I would say. Today, we just played more calmly, taking it round by round, and performed much better."

Jabbi also assessed his team's chances of taking first place in the championship. Nygaard emphasised that Astralis' goal for the tournament is to gain experience and play well.

"The goal isn't to win but to just show good CS. But of course, I think we can win the tournament because we've been playing very well for the past two months. It's about showing our best game, but also gaining the experience we need, as we have a fairly young team."

After their victory over SAW, Astralis secured third place in their group and guaranteed themselves a spot in the playoffs of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024. The championship runs from June 12 to 16 in London, UK.
