Israeli club Finest failed to pay players over $70,000

The Israeli esports organisation Finest, which shut down in 2022, still owes more than $70,000 to former members of its CS:GO roster, including prize money and salaries.

In spring 2022, the team won first place at the Pinnacle Cup IV, earning $80,000. However, only two players, Simon "twist" Eliasson and Rasmus "kreaz" Johansson, received their share of the prize. The remaining players—Niklas "PlesseN" Plessen, Kristian "shokz" Jakobsson, Guy "anarkez" Trachtman, and coach Jędrzej "Bogdan" Rokita—are still owed $13,000 each.

Former team members have also claimed that Finest unilaterally terminated their contracts without the required 30-day notice or a final salary payment, which was stipulated in their contracts.

Founded in 2019, Finest was one of Israel's largest and most successful esports organisations, fielding teams in CS:GO, Valorant, Fortnite, and FIFA. Due to financial difficulties, the organisation disbanded all of its rosters and shut down in the autumn of 2022.
