The organisers of this year's second major Counter-Strike 2 tournament have announced the deadline for determining the participants in the closed qualifiers for the RMR tournaments. The deadline is set for August 7. The tournament operator, Perfect World, shared this information on social media platform X.
It should be noted that the open qualifiers for the RMR tournaments as part of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will only take place in Asia. In other regions, the participants for the closed qualifiers will be determined based on Valve's official rankings. Consequently, teams have less than two months to improve their standings.
A few days ago, Valve published an updated ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams. MOUZ still holds the top spot, while The MongolZ has risen to sixth place.
The Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will take place from November 30 to December 15 in Shanghai, China. The RMR tournaments will be held in the same city from November 11 to 24. The closed qualifiers are scheduled from August 21 to 30.
