Vyacheslav "innersh1ne" Britvin, the assistant coach for the South American team FURIA, might miss the IEM Cologne 2024 championship in Germany. Innersh1ne shared this information on his Telegram channel, also providing an update on the team's bootcamp ahead of the tournament.
"The bootcamp is slowly coming to an end; tomorrow is the last working day, and then on Monday, the team will fly to Cologne. This time, we avoided any illnesses during the bootcamp, and from my perspective, the training went well (though I remain cautious as usual), and the main objectives for the bootcamp (there were three) have been achieved.
I applied for the visa, but rather late (due to delays in gathering documents), so it's uncertain whether I will make it to Cologne. If I can, I’ll join the team at the tournament."
Earlier, it was reported that the European team HEROIC will also begin their IEM Cologne 2024 campaign without Abdul "degster" Gasanov, due to similar visa issues.
IEM Cologne 2024 will take place from 7 to 18 August in Cologne, Germany, with 24 teams participating. The total prize pool for the event is $1 million.
