In July, CS2's peak online dropped by almost 170,000 players

The audience for Counter-Strike 2 continues to decline for the second consecutive month. In July 2024, the game's average concurrent player count fell by 7.62% compared to the previous month.

The peak player count in July saw an even more significant drop compared to June, decreasing from 1.510 million to 1.342 million players. This data was provided by the analytics service Steam Charts.

It's worth noting that only three small updates were released for Counter-Strike 2 in July. In the most recent update, developers modified the Dust2 map, allowing players to climb to short by themselves.
