In August, CS2's peak online again exceeded 1.4 million players

The audience for Counter-Strike 2 has shown growth for the first time in the past three months. In August 2024, the average online player count increased by 2.5% compared to the previous month (+22,000 users).

The peak online player count in August also rose compared to July, from 1.342 million to 1.425 million players. The analytics service Steam Charts provided this data.

It is worth noting that Counter-Strike 2 received five minor updates last month. In the most recent update, the developers fixed issues on nine maps. Before this, Valve also added a new music kit to the game.
