Imperial strengthens its team with analyst

The 32-year-old Brazilian esports player Caio "zqkS" Fonseca has returned to the organisation Imperial, which he previously represented as a player from 2018 to 2019 and from 2020 to 2022. The club announced his return on their X social media page.

This time, Fonseca has taken on the role of an analyst for Imperial's Counter-Strike 2 team. Previously, zqkS had never worked as an analyst or coach. Throughout his career as a professional CS player, he earned $29,000 in prize money.

ZqkS will make his debut in this new role tomorrow, 10 September, during the 20th season of the ESL Pro League, where the team will face BIG in the first round of Group C. Currently, Imperial is ranked 37th in the HLTV rankings.

It’s also worth noting that in July this year, Santino "try" Rigal became a new member of Imperial’s roster, replacing Henrique "HEN1" Teles. Before joining, the 19-year-old Argentine sniper had spent a long time on the bench for 9z.

Current Imperial roster:

- Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo

- João "felps" Vasconcellos

- Caíque "noway" Santos

- Lucas "decenty" Bacelar

- Santino "try" Rigal

- Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (coach)

- Caio "zqkS" Fonseca (analyst)
