ICY officially left AMKAL

Kazakhstani cybersportsman Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov has departed from the AMKAL organization. In an official announcement published on the club's Telegram channel, it was stated that the decision was made by mutual agreement, and Faiznurov will continue his career with another team.

"The club and the player have mutually decided to continue his career elsewhere. We thank Kaisar for his contributions to the team's development, for the tournaments and victories we have experienced together."

It is worth recalling that on 22 June, AMKAL placed ICY on the bench and initiated an investigation "to determine any potential misconduct." According to insiders, Kaisar is set to join the North American club Cloud9. However, earlier, Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov reported that the transfer of Faiznurov to Cloud9 might be hindered by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC).

The 19-year-old ICY has been representing AMKAL since December last year, and before that, he spent over two years playing for AVANGAR. Over the past three months, Faiznurov's average rating has been 1.16 (across 75 maps played).
