Let's remember his achievements.
Who do you consider the strongest players in the world? Surely, names like S1mple, ZywOo, Sh1ro, Electronic, and other tier-1 sharpshooters come to mind. But did you know that none of them are among the top five players with the highest Elo on Faceit?
Pashanoj was the best player in Russia for a long time and second in the world (second only to an unknown player whose account is now deactivated). He had a win streak of 66 games, but for the past few years, he has only played in tournaments where Elo is not awarded.
For each win on Faceit, a player receives 25 Elo points, and the highest level - the tenth - is given when reaching 2,000 points. When you cross the threshold of 3,000 points, you receive fewer points because most opponents are lower-ranked than you.
According to Pasha, he achieved this result in just 2 months of playing. However, in official matches, Pashanoj's performance is poor: K/D 0.80, and a rating against teams from the top 20 in the world - 0.82. Only every third game does he finish with a rating above 1.0.
The top-2 player in Russia on Faceit is also remembered for his cool quotes about pressing buttons correctly:
"If you don't know how to press buttons, you can play as much as you want. You need to learn how to press buttons; on Faceit, it's easiest to do. From this, you will understand if you want to understand."
Now Pasha has stopped actively playing on Faceit, which dropped him to 25th place in Russia and 170th in the world.
And he also spoke sharply about teammates in 2018:
"There were such problems. I predicted where the enemies were, we stacked, and I had 4 people who couldn't press buttons. I don't believe that my guys are so talentless. But they're noobs, yes, they often screw up, but there were situations when a person just couldn't press buttons."
"I haven't played matchmaking for 2 years, it makes no sense to me, I'd rather press buttons, I doubt I'll ever do it," - Pashanoj on training.
Throughout his career, Pashanoj has played with Jame, passed through the Spirit Academy, Espada, and Unique, and his best achievement in his career was the CIS Minor to the Major in Berlin. And, of course, a place in the top 5 on Faceit.
