Thorin about m0NESY in the EWC 2024 finals

CS2 analyst Duncan "Thorin" Shields commented on G2 Esports sniper Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov’s performance in the final of the Esports World Cup 2024. On Twitter, he noted that the esports player seemed to lack confidence during clutch situations.

"It was apparent that m0NESY didn’t feel the game during the EWC 2024 final, especially when he found himself in 1v2 or 1v3 clutches. It was as if he, like Jame, was looking for reasons to save or simply didn’t believe in his ability to win the clutch. This isn’t the m0NESY I would call the best in the world."

G2 Esports lost to Natus Vincere 1:2 in the Esports World Cup 2024 final. Across the three maps, m0NESY ranked third in his team for kills versus deaths, with 41 kills and 48 deaths.
