Journalists have learned that Austin, Texas, is being considered as the city to host the world championship. BLAST declined to comment on this information, and Valve did not respond to HLTV's request.
At the moment, it is officially unknown who will host the Major Series tournaments in 2025. The first of the two events is scheduled for June 9-22, and the second for December 1-14.
It is noteworthy that BLAST has previously hosted a Major: the tournament operator organized the last CS:GO world championship - the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
Recall that the United States last hosted a prestigious Valve tournament in 2018. That Major was held under the auspices of ELEAGUE in two cities - Atlanta and Boston.
