Rumours suggest that the Hong Kong-based esports club Talon is planning to return to the professional Counter-Strike scene with a new roster. This information comes from the HLTV portal, citing its sources.
According to media reports, the team will be led by the acclaimed Australian player Aaron "AZR" Ward, who has been inactive for over a year—he was removed from Sprout’s roster in April 2023.
The main candidates to join the team are reportedly Corey "nettik" Brown, Jared "HaZR" O'Bree, and Christian "ADDICT" Pendleton. The club is looking for a European player to fill the sniper role, with Olek "hades" Miskiewicz and Beksultan "khaN" Ospan on the shortlist. Daniel "djL" Narancic is a potential candidate for the coaching position.
Talon established a Counter-Strike division in 2017. In 2018, the organisation disbanded its team, which was entirely composed of Taiwanese esports players, and exited the discipline.
