HEROIC will perform at IEM Rio 2024

Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski's team has emerged as the second winner of the closed European qualifier for the upcoming IEM Rio 2024 Counter-Strike 2 championship.

In the lower bracket final, HEROIC defeated the Falcons 2-0 (13-9 on Mirage, 13-6 on Dust2) and previously eliminated fnatic, 3DMAX, and B8 from the qualifiers.

As a reminder, the first European qualifier for IEM Rio 2024 was won by Eternal Fire, who also defeated the Falcons in the winners' final.

IEM Rio 2024 will take place from 7 to 13 October 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, featuring 16 teams. Participants will compete for a prize pool of $250,000, with the winner earning a spot at IEM Katowice 2025. The current list of participants is as follows:
