HAVU introduced a new coach

The Finnish esports club HAVU has announced a new addition to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Petteri "peku" Jaakkola has become the team's new coach. The announcement was made on the organisation's social media page on X.

Jaakkola has replaced Mikko "xartE" Välimää, who had been coaching the team since 2022 and left the roster in April 2024.

Previously, peku worked as an analyst and assistant coach for the Chinese club Rare Atom. Before that, he coached KOVA and SAVO. In 2019, he played for HAVU for several months as a player.

Currently, HAVU is ranked 94th in the world according to HLTV's Counter-Strike 2 rankings. The team did not achieve any significant success in the past season.
