Hally: "NAVI is a good team, although they do not have the strongest players"
Team Spirit coach Sergey "hally" Shavaev shared his thoughts on NAVI's Counter-Strike 2 roster in an interview with organisers of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024. According to Shavaev, "born to win" (NAVI) may not have the strongest individual players, but their strong structure allows them to compete with the world's top teams.
"NAVI is a good team with a solid structure that enables them to contend for titles, so they deserve respect for that, despite not having the strongest individual players compared to other teams.
Nevertheless, in every match against them [at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024], we were able to dictate our terms."
Hally also added that he and his team are pleased with their current progress but acknowledged that they still have much to learn.
"We thirst for victories and strive to maintain composure because we are learning with every game.
For us, it's a process, as our core is still very young, and sh1ro only recently joined us, so there's still much for us to learn in that regard. Nonetheless, we're satisfied with our progress.
I want to thank my team: despite great fatigue, they managed to come together and achieve victory."
Team Spirit defeated NAVI in the final of the recent BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 championship in London, thus becoming the world's strongest team according to HLTV and Valve.
