The team led by Byambasuren “bLitz” Garidmarg claimed the title of champion at the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, a major Counter-Strike 2 tournament whose final matches were held on LAN in Berlin.
In the grand final, The MongolZ secured a 3-1 victory over HEROIC. The series concluded with scores of 13-8 on Dust2, 6-13 on Ancient, 13-11 on Anubis, and 13-2 on Mirage.
For their triumph, The MongolZ were awarded $500,000, while the runners-up, HEROIC, took home $150,000. 3DMAX finished in third place, with OG in fourth. The total prize pool for the event was $850,000, with 16 teams competing.
