G2 and MIBR make successful debut at ESL Pro League Season 20

KOI and 9z lost their opening matches in Group B of ESL Pro League Season 20. In the first round of the tournament, KOI was defeated by G2 (7-13 on Inferno, 10-13 on Mirage), while 9z fell to MIBR (11-13 on Anubis, 10-13 on Nuke).

As a result, the losing teams have dropped to the lower bracket, while the winners have advanced to the winners' bracket semifinals. Only one more victory now stands between them and a spot in the championship playoffs.

ESL Pro League Season 20 is taking place from September 3 to 22 in Malta, featuring 32 teams and a total prize pool of $750,000.
