G2 advances to IEM Cologne 2024 playoffs

In Cologne, Germany, another participant for the final stage of the IEM Cologne 2024 Championship has been determined, with G2 securing a spot in the playoffs.

In the Group A lower bracket final, Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski's team defeated paiN with a 2-0 scoreline (13-6 on Nuke, 13-1 on Mirage). Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt's team finished the tournament in 7th-8th place, earning $24,000 in prize money.

Additionally, we learned the identity of the first semi-finalist of IEM Cologne 2024. In the match for a top-four spot, NAVI managed to defeat SAW 2-1 (9-13 on Nuke, 13-2 on Ancient, 13-6 on Inferno).
