Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski's team has become the second quarter-finalist of ESL Pro League Season 20—G2 has secured at least a 5th-8th place finish in the tournament.
In the upper bracket final of Group B, G2 defeated MIBR 2-0 (13-8 on Anubis, 13-8 on Inferno). Consequently, MIBR will begin their playoff run from the second round of the bracket.
As a reminder, ESL Pro League Season 20 is taking place from September 3 to 22 in Malta. The total prize pool for the championship is $750,000, which will be divided among 32 teams.
