Former 5W lineup disbanded

British esports athlete Thomas "Thomas" Atting has announced that his team, which has been competing under the banner of 5W for several weeks, has disbanded. Recently, Atting stated that the team would continue with the same roster despite leaving their Indian club.

"Unfortunately, we couldn't keep the 5W lineup together, so we've decided to part ways and become free agents."

Thomas also revealed that he is actively seeking a new team as an in-game leader. The British esports player is interested in offers from Europe and North America.

According to rumours, one of the former players from 5W, Christian "REDSTAR" Pironkov, is set to join Into the Breach as the fifth player in their new Counter-Strike 2 lineup. Insider Vladislav "harumi" Radvilovich reported this development.

Recall that the team played 14 maps under the 5W banner in the Regional Clash Arena Europe 2024 online tournament. They secured first place in the championship, earning $30,000 in prize money. Following this, the players left the organisation due to alleged deceit by the management of 5W.
