At the Esports World Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia, the initial matches of the intermediate Play-In stage have concluded.
In the first round of the bracket, Sashi defeated JiJieHao (13:8 on Ancient), FURIA triumphed over FlyQuest (13:5 on Nuke), The MongolZ outplayed MIBR (13:2 on Inferno), and M80 overcame Complexity (16:14 on Anubis).
The losing teams have exited the competition, sharing the last place and each receiving $10,000 in prize money. The winners have advanced to the next round of the tournament bracket. It is worth noting that one top team from the Play-In stage will qualify for the playoffs of the Esports World Cup 2024.
