Fl4mus explained the situation regarding the change of avatar on Steam.
Timur "FL4MUS" Maryev previously mentioned that he had to remove the Russian flag from his Steam avatar because "not everyone liked it."
"Let me explain a bit about the flag situation, as many have started attributing random reasons to it, spreading chaos on all social media and public pages.
GamerLegion underwent rebranding, so everyone who had avatars with flags was asked to remove them so that everyone's avatar was the same. This was a requirement not only for me, I repeat, but for the entire team.
I ask you to stop the insults in the comments, let's live together peacefully," — urged Timur "FL4MUS" Maryev.
The 19-year-old Russian also added that he did not immediately understand the club management's request because he was not yet accustomed to communicating in English.
Maryev transferred from Nemiga to GamerLegion in early May.
The debut tournament for the Russian in GamerLegion will be BLAST Premier: Fall Groups, which will take place in late July.
