FaZe Clan emerged victorious over FlyQuest in the Opening Stage of Esports World Cup 2024 for CS2. The scoreline was 2:0 (16:13 on Anubis and 13:10 on Nuke).

FaZe Clan secured a spot in the tournament's playoffs. FlyQuest will continue its journey in the Play-In stage, where eight teams will vie for one spot in the playoffs.

The Esports World Cup 2024 for CS2 is being held from July 17 to 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Teams are competing for a prize pool of one million dollars.
