On his stream, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo acknowledged that FURIA is facing challenges in finding a replacement coach for Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira, who is soon transitioning to a Head of Esports role within the organisation.
According to Dust2 Brasil, assistant coach Sidnei "sidde" Macedo is the frontrunner to take over from guerri.
"It's proving difficult; there are numerous candidates. We speak Portuguese and wish to continue doing so. If we were to bring in a head coach who doesn't understand Portuguese, it would be tough as they'd miss out on the majority of discussions, team play, and in-game details. It presents a challenge.”
“Having a foreign coach listen to us speaking Portuguese hasn't been very effective and comes with its own set of difficulties. However, it's not off the table.”
"We're looking to find someone to collaborate with sidde. We're impressed with his work. In our recent tournament, where we reached the semi-finals, he took on more coaching responsibilities, particularly in game planning. We'll see how it unfolds."
