Falcons vs Virtus.pro match became the most popular match

The recently concluded Thunderpick World Championship 2024, won by The MongolZ, attracted a peak viewership of 246,000 on its broadcasts, according to statistics shared by Esports Charts.

The most-watched match of the event was between Virtus.pro and Falcons during the group stage. The top five most popular matches also featured teams such as 3DMAX, NIP, Imperial, OG, and The MongolZ. The tournament’s final between The MongolZ and HEROIC drew only 65,000 concurrent viewers. The average viewership across all broadcasts was 41,000. The event was streamed for a total of 88 hours, amassing 3.7 million hours watched.

By comparison, the final of the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 in Singapore, held on the same day as the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, peaked at over half a million viewers.

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 took place from 21 October to 3 November. The final two days of the event were held on LAN in Berlin, while the remaining matches were played online. The championship had a prize pool of $850,000, with half a million dollars awarded to the winners, The MongolZ.
