F_1N named the “dark horse” at Esports World Cup 2024

PARIVISON's coach, Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov, has shared his expectations for the upcoming Esports World Cup 2024, which starts today. On his personal Telegram channel, Kochugov listed the tournament favourites and identified the team he believes is the "dark horse" capable of surprising spectators and opponents.

"The favourites are Team Spirit, MOUZ, FaZe, and Vitality.

I would love to see a Team Spirit vs. Virtus.pro final. It will be interesting to watch the 'bears' play after the arrival of their new coach and the off-season; I hope they at least make it to the playoffs and surprise us...

G2: How well have they prepared, given they had the least time for preparation after changing their captain and a player? Will they have many new tactics and setups, or will we see an excellent mixed game like in Dallas?

NAVI: The lads won the Major, but their performance has been unstable since then, and some have started writing them off and talking about roster changes. But let's see, they had a break, they were preparing... Maybe they'll show their championship strength like in Denmark.

A little dessert: I think the dark horse is the team Sashi; they might surprise us."

The Esports World Cup 2024 will take place from 17 to 21 July in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Fifteen teams will compete for a prize pool of one million dollars.
