EYEBALLERS signed a 17-year-old player from Sweden

The Swedish esports organisation EYEBALLERS has announced a new addition to their Counter-Strike 2 roster. The team has welcomed Alex "⁠poiii⁠" Sandgren as their newest member.

The 17-year-old Swede has taken the place of Anton "Sapec" Palmgren, who joined Metizport last month. In his absence, club co-founder Robin "flusha" Rönnquist stepped in as a stand-in.

Over the past few months, Sandgren has been playing for Lilmix. During his time with the team, he played 25 maps, achieving an average rating of 1.26 and reaching nearly 4000 elo on FACEIT.

Jesper "JW" Wecksell, co-founder, CEO, and player of EYEBALLERS, called poiii⁠ "a rising Swedish superstar." The official announcement also mentioned that the club had been keeping an eye on Alex since 2022.
