ESL Challenger Katowice 2024

The team seeding for the group stage of the upcoming ESL Challenger Katowice 2024, which will take place later this month, has been revealed.

Group A will feature Eternal Fire, SAW, Falcons, and B8; while Group B will see MIBR, paiN, Monte, and Legacy in action. The group stage will follow a Double Elimination (GSL) format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs, which will be played in a Single Elimination format.

ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 is part of the ESL Challenger series for CS2 and will be held in Katowice, Poland. Eight teams will compete for a prize pool of $100,000. Four teams received direct invites to the tournament, while the other four qualified through regional qualifiers.

Participants:

- 8 teams in total

- 4 teams from regional qualifiers

Group Stage:

- Two groups of 4 teams

- Opening and winners' matches will be best-of-1

- Elimination matches will be best-of-3

- The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the playoffs

Playoffs:

- 4 teams in a single-elimination bracket

- All matches will be best-of-3

ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 will be held from 25 to 27 October in Katowice, Poland, at the ESL studio. The total prize pool of $100,000 will be distributed among the eight participating teams.
