Es3tag became a free agent

The 28-year-old Danish esports player Patrick "es3tag" Hansen is no longer under contract with NIP. The Swedish organisation announced this on their social media page on X.

To recap, Hansen played for NIP from November 2021 until December 2022, after which the organisation moved him to the bench, where he remained until October 2023 before returning to the active roster.

In February 2024, the club once again benched the Dane, and since then, he has been inactive, not competing in professional Counter-Strike 2 or posting on social media. There is currently no news about es3tag’s plans.

Before joining NIP, Patrick represented Complexity, Cloud9, Astralis, HEROIC, and other organisations. Throughout his professional CS career, he has earned $273,000 in prize money.
