Dupreeh: "There are no bad teams now. The competition has grown a lot"

Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, a member of Falcons, commented on his team’s recent successes, including their advancement to the playoffs of the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 and qualification for the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024. In an interview with eScoreNews, he expressed his thoughts on the team's progress.

“It’s nice to be winning rather than constantly losing. It gives both me and the team confidence. I think we needed this. It’s great to reach the main stage of BB Dacha and qualify for BLAST. Now we have the IEM Rio qualifiers ahead. A lot is happening, and I feel like we’re enjoying the game right now.”

The Danish player also shared which opponent he would like to face in the final stage of the championship in Belgrade.

“Perhaps MOUZ. We almost beat them in Cologne. We played well against them last time. They’re a strong team. Speaking of others, Team Spirit is also strong. Yes, they had a poor showing at IEM Cologne 2024, but they were unlucky with the draw, getting G2 in the elimination match. They have some insane players who want to prove that their early exit from Cologne was a fluke, and that’s scary.

There are no easy matches anymore. But I wouldn’t say the previous ones were easy either. Nowadays, there aren’t any bad teams. In the past, you could say, 'It’s just BetBoom Team, we can easily beat these guys.' Maybe it’s just us feeling this way, but competition has intensified.”

In a previous interview, Rasmussen also discussed the reasons behind BetBoom Team's defeats and shared his thoughts on the Virtus.pro roster in Counter-Strike 2.
