Dupreeh: 'It's great to play where it's fun again' - Danish star's return with Falcons
After a stint at Vitality, renowned Danish player dupreeh is back in the Tier 1 scene by joining Falcons. In an exclusive interview with Dust2.dk, he shared his thoughts on the transition, the new team, and his challenges.
After leaving Vitality, dupreeh found himself without a team, an unfamiliar situation for him. Joining Preasy allowed him to meet new people and gain a different perspective on cybersport, but his desire to return to a top team remained strong. In March, he joined Falcons, where he met old acquaintances Magisk and zonic, which helped him quickly adapt and feel part of the team.
"It's great to be able to play again where it's fun. After being in Vitality, I always felt like I still had something to bring to the table.”
Interestingly, over the past four months, dupreeh has become the Falcons' best player statistically. This demonstrates his ability to adapt and maintain a high level of play even after so many years in the professional scene. The new system and roles in the team have allowed him to fully develop his skills and contribute significantly to the team's success.
Dupreeh's return to the top level of cybersport is significant for him and the entire scene. It shows that age and family circumstances are not barriers to a successful career if there is motivation and a desire to keep growing and developing. At BLAST Premier: Fall Groups, Falcons played their first match against Astralis and lost it, then fell to GamerLegion in the elimination match.
