Star player of Team Spirit, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, answered fans' questions during a personal Twitch livestream. Donk explained how esports players set up their computers at LAN tournaments for Counter-Strike 2.
"In CS2, there isn't just one file like in CS:GO. In CS:GO, there was an 'exec config' file, but now instead of one file with all your settings, there are multiple files – five or six of them. I just throw them onto LAN, and they set up my config. That's it."
Additionally, Kryshkovets admitted that due to spending little time at home, he still uses a monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate.
"I still have a 144Hz monitor at home. I just don't spend much time there, so I haven't bought a new one yet. Now I came over, played with Tomsk on 144Hz."
Lastly, the Russian esports player showed viewers his graphics settings in the Counter-Strike 2 client – Danil uses antialiasing and high shadows, with low settings for models/textures.
