Donk: "It annoys me that sometimes I play badly"

Team Spirit’s Danil "donk" Kryshkovets shared how his team has been preparing in recent weeks for the upcoming BLAST Premier World Final 2024. According to Kryshkovets, he and his teammates have managed to resolve issues that arose in their previous tournaments.

"We had a break for around ten days, and then we resumed training. We focused on getting into better form and improving our teamwork, both in-game and out, working through the problems we noticed at tournaments where we didn’t perform well.

Yes, we managed to fix those issues. I’m confident we’ve dealt with them. I believe we’ve become a better team than we were before. We’ll see in the official matches if it has paid off."

The Russian esports player also reflected on his year and shared his aspirations for 2025, noting that this has been a successful year for him.

"Overall, I see myself in 2025 as a more consistent player than I was this year. I could have performed better in the second half of the year. We faced challenges, and I feel there were matches where I could have turned things around. But in general, it was a good year for me. I’m happy with it, but I know I can be stronger and perform better. It’s a bit frustrating when I don’t play well, and I want to be more consistent—just stronger."

The BLAST World Final 2024 runs from 30 October to 3 November in Singapore, where eight teams will compete for a one-million-dollar prize pool, with half going to the winner.
