Donk is the first riffler to change the Counter-Strike scene altogether

Insider and scout Aleksei "OverDrive" Biryukov has praised the achievements of the star player of Team Spirit, Daniil "donk" Kryshkovets. In an interview with Metaratings, Biryukov highlighted that the Russian eSports player is surpassing all snipers in the race for the title of the best player.

"Donk is the first rifler to change the Counter-Strike scene entirely and to push snipers out of the race for the best players. I can't remember a time when riflers dictated the game to such an extent that the entire game structure was built around them. This is already a significant advantage compared to players like ZywOo and m0NESY. However, I should note that donk's successes on the server are largely due to the efforts of the entire Team Spirit roster. [...]

So far, time has shown that donk is handling things well. The media attention doesn't distract him or interfere with his desire to train and play CS2. The management protects him from excessive activity so that he can focus on the game. I don't see any major issues in this regard."

OverDrive also listed young ambitious players who he believes could become the next stars in the professional Counter-Strike 2 scenes.

"I would mention kyousuke and Mokuj1n. The rest were mostly recruited by S0tFik into the academy, but I found these two, and they passed the test in the Team Spirit Academy. Kyousuke is currently playing very well at the academy level, essentially mirroring all of donk's positions. Mokuj1n seems to be playing as a support player.

The main thing is their gaming skills. Secondary to that, I evaluate their mindset. If someone is a 'ghoul' or an 'old insider' who doesn't want to work and only likes moving the mouse in the game, that's a definite no. If it's a thoughtful and reflective person who is ready to improve and reach the highest level, and accept criticism, then that's a good option."

Previously, OverDrive shared on his personal Telegram channel the earnings of professional Counter-Strike 2 players, depending on their team's position in the HLTV world rankings.
