Dima on the 25th anniversary of CS

Professional Counter-Strike 2 player Dmitry "Dima" Bandurka reacted to the 25th anniversary of the franchise. His congratulatory message was posted on his X page.

"Happy birthday to my beloved game and to the lazy developers — or whoever is responsible for the updates."

Counter-Strike's birthday was celebrated on June 19th — the franchise turned 25 years old. The first beta version of the original CS was released on June 19, 1999. In honour of the occasion, Valve congratulated fans by posting a message on their social media. The developers acknowledged the shooter's journey and thanked the players. However, no special event was released for this date — earlier, there were rumours that an operation might be released for CS2 to mark the occasion.
