Degster: “If they give me a visa tomorrow, then in theory I’ll make it to the second match”

Heroic's sniper, Abdul "degster" Gasanov, has stated that he still has a chance to play for the team at IEM Cologne 2024 for CS2. He mentioned on his personal Telegram channel that he might receive his visa on the day the tournament starts.

"If I get the visa tomorrow, then theoretically I can make it in time for the second match in the play-in. Let's all pray, I’m expecting the visa tomorrow, I’m in great shape."

Previously, it was reported that degster would not be able to start playing at IEM Cologne 2024 with Heroic due to visa issues. Vladimir "Woro2k" Veletnyuk will temporarily take Gasanov's place in the team.

IEM Cologne 2024 will take place from 7 to 18 August in Germany, with 24 teams competing for a prize pool of $1 million. Heroic will begin their tournament journey in the Play-In stage, facing MIBR in the first round.
