CS2 performance dropped by 14% after update
The average FPS in Counter-Strike 2 has dropped by 14% following the release of the latest "Arsenal" patch, which introduced charms, new skins, network code updates, and other features. This was reported by dataminer Thour on the social network X.
Before the patch, the average frame rate stood at 323 FPS, but after the update, this figure decreased to 280 FPS. The tests were conducted at a resolution of 1920x1080, with medium graphics settings and 2x MSAA anti-aliasing enabled.
Earlier, the dataminer also compared Counter-Strike 2's performance in September 2024 to that of September last year. It was revealed that the average frame rate had dropped by 10% over the past year.
