Team Spirit's CS2 coach Sergey "hally" Shavaev commented on his team's elimination from IEM Cologne 2024. His thoughts were shared in a post on the club's Telegram channel.
"Köln [IEM Cologne 2024] is over for us; we apologise for such CS. There’s not much more to say."
On the evening of August 11th, Spirit faced G2 Esports in the lower bracket of Group A at IEM Cologne 2024. Following the match, Shavaev's team fell short and exited the championship, while G2 progressed to the next round.
IEM Cologne 2024 runs from 7th to 18th August in Germany. The tournament features 24 teams competing for a prize pool of $1 million, as well as slots for IEM Katowice 2025 and the BLAST Premier: World Final.
